Pitch wins big at the UK Sponsorship Awards

Last night, Pitch Marketing Group took home the trophies for FIVE of the most hotly contested categories at the annual UK Sponsorship Awards; the most competitive sponsorship awards ceremony in the calendar.

The Pitch Partnerships Team, headed up by Abi Russell, had widespread success with Gallagher’s continued sponsorship of Premiership Rugby, which Pitch has effectively run for five consecutive seasons.

And a big breakthrough success was that of NatWest’s partnership with Team GB, for which Pitch has been retained as the brands partnerships agency since the deal was signed ahead of the Paris Olympics, responsible for all strategy and activation.  

The Partnerships team has experienced rapid growth and a number of account wins since Abi’s joining 18 months ago, and most recently ran a highly effective brand partnership between Tinder and the Bridget Jones movie, to tackle brand perceptions amongst Gen Z women.  

The UK Sponsorship Awards won were as follows:

  2. SPONSORSHIP CONTINUITY AWARD for our work with Gallagher & Premiership Rugby
  3. BEST BUSINESS TO BUSINESS SPONSORSHIP for our work with Gallagher and Premiership Rugby
  4. UKSA SPOTLIGHT AWARD FOR THE OLYMPIC GAMES PARIS 2024 with NatWest & Team GB
  5. BEST SPORTS SPONSORSHIP with NatWest & Team GB
