Pitch Marketing Group appointed by Happy Socks

It’s Happy Days for Pitch Marketing Group, who has been appointed by Swedish fashion brand and purveyors of happiness, Happy Socks, as its retained consumer PR agency in the UK and Ireland.

Happy Socks is Pitch’s latest addition to a growing roster of consumer PR clients and was won following a competitive pitch process at the end of 2019.

Pitch will be responsible for Happy Socks’ UK communications strategy and PR & influencer output; including an always on press office, creative activations and events centred around seasonal product launches, media partnerships and the promotion of commercial/brand collaborations.

Sally Braid, Happy Socks Global PR & Communications Manager, commented

Not only did Pitch demonstrate an excellent grasp of the Happy Socks brand vision and how to bring it to life creatively through earned PR and community influence, but also the chemistry, which is essential for us at Happy Socks when choosing partners to represent us, just felt right.  We look forward to working with Pitch to bringing happiness to every corner of the UK and Ireland in 2020.

Pitch will drive awareness around the brands’ hosiery, underwear and swimwear collections spanning across men’s, women’s and kids’ products, and will work alongside the internal team to further Happy Socks’ endearing brand vision of spreading happiness to every corner of the world.

Chris Allen, Director of PR & Campaigns at Pitch Marketing Group, added

We’re really excited to start the new year and a new decade with a brand spanking new retained client like Happy Socks – a rapidly growing global consumer brand with the personality to boot. They’re a great addition to our growing roster of consumer PR clients and we look forward to creating some brilliant, feel-good work for them that delivers on their brand vision.

Happy Socks is the newest recruit to Pitch Marketing Group’s growing portfolio of lifestyle brand clients, which also includes Beats by Dre, TAG Heuer and ASICS.
