Deliver an impactful comms activation to launch SSE Wildcats in 2019 targeting parents with potential to also appeal to 5-11 year olds. The campaign should drive session recruitment and attendance at national and regional level while communicating Gameplan for Growth messaging.
David Attenborough’s highly anticipated new Netflix series dropped on April 5th, the same week as the SSE Wildcats launch. This was Netflix’s first step into the natural history world and they went big.
Using a David Attenborough impersonator we created a 60 second spoof documentary featuring an SSE Wildcats session. The Attenborough impersonator recorder a voice over, describing the girls and the game with slow-mo highlights and close ups on players.
The content mimicked the same look and feel as Our Planet, copying camera angles, movements and narration.
