Pitch Helps Make the BT British Olympic Ball a Roaring Success for Team GB.
Team GB athletes, past and present, got a night off from their London 2012 training schedules on Friday 7th October as they attended the glamourous BT British Olympic Ball at Kensington Olympia.
This year’s Ball represented the second occasion Pitch has worked with the British Olympic Association on the high class event and with coverage being generated across sports and lifestyle media, including Hello! magazine, The Daily Mail, The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph, Sky News, BBC News and BBC Five Live, the PR campaign helped to play a role in raising more than £700,000 for Team GB.
In addition to making a number of key announcements, including unveiling Sir Tom Jones as headline act as well as Stephen Fry and Miranda Hart as hosts, Pitch devised a stunning photo shoot featuring a range of Team GB athletes at the top of BT Tower which was featured in the pages of Hello! magazine.
On the day of the Ball, Pitch undertook a huge publicity campaign, including media tours with key athletes and the management of more than 50 media outlets on the Gold Carpet.
