Pitch Marketing Group appointed by EA Sports FC on a social media remit

Pitch has been appointed by EA following a competitive pitch process earlier this year to drive TikTok engagement for EA SPORTS FC. Pitch have been working closely with EA during pre-launch, throughout launch and will continue through the game’s live service cycle.

 

The account is being managed by Pitch’s dedicated social media division – Pitch Platforms – working hand in hand with Pitch Productions, the agency’s creative studio, and its team of TikTok social first makers to develop a combination of trend led and planned content around tentpole moments for The World’s Game.

 

Pitch Platforms launched 12 months ago following an increased demand from existing and new clients for platform-specific marketing strategies, helping clients unlock the power of digital strategy to grow brand passion.. In that time it has won a number of accounts, including Stonegate Group; the largest pub company in the UK with more than 4,800 pub and bar venues. Pitch Platforms is spearheaded by Ed Brittain, who joined the agency from a previous role as Head of Social & Influence at MSL.

 

EA SPORTS FC makes some of the best produced content in the world, from trailers to gameplay capture. The challenge for Pitch is to bridge the gap between EA’s owned content and football gaming culture via a TikTok-first content strategy and approach that will drive social success and channel growth for the recently rebranded game.
